Terms of Service

Last updated: July 12, 2026
Effective date: July 12, 2026

These Terms of Service ("Terms") are a binding agreement between you and AppsInventor ("we", "us", "our") governing your use of the Rasoma mobile application and related services ("Rasoma", the "App"). Please read them carefully.

By creating an account or using Rasoma, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

1. The service

Rasoma is a private family recipe keeper. It lets you create or join family groups, add recipes (text and photos), record stories and attribution, and share that content privately with the members of your family groups. Some features may require an internet connection; recipes you have synced can be viewed offline.

We may add, change, or remove features over time. We will try to give reasonable notice of significant changes that affect you.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old, or the minimum age of digital consent in your country, to create an account. If you are under the age of majority where you live, you may use Rasoma only with the involvement and consent of a parent or legal guardian. By using the App, you confirm that you meet these requirements.

3. Your account

4. Your content and ownership

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

You can report a recipe or photo from its menu in the App. Reported content may be hidden while we review it. We may remove content or suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

7. Intellectual property in the App

The Rasoma name, logo, design, software, and all related intellectual property are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by law. These Terms do not grant you any right to use our trademarks or branding without our prior written permission.

8. Third-party services

Rasoma relies on Google Firebase and Google Sign-In to operate. Your use of these services through the App may also be subject to Google's terms and policies. We are not responsible for third-party services, and their availability is outside our control.

9. Food, recipe, and health disclaimer

Please read this section carefully. Recipes and related content on Rasoma are provided by users for personal and family use. They are not reviewed or verified by us.

Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties, so some of these exclusions may not apply to you.

12. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, AppsInventor and its officers, employees, and partners will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising from your use of or inability to use the App.

To the extent liability cannot be excluded, our total aggregate liability to you is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us for the App in the twelve months before the claim, or INR 4,000.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.

13. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless AppsInventor from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your content, your use of the App, or your breach of these Terms or applicable law.
