Delete your account
You can delete your Rasoma account and its associated data at any time. Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone.
Delete from inside the app (recommended)
- Open Rasoma and sign in.
- Open Settings from the menu.
- Tap Delete account and confirm.
If you are the only owner of a family group that still has other members, the app will ask you to first transfer ownership or remove the group. This protects the rest of your family from losing access to the group unexpectedly.
Request deletion by email
If you can no longer access the app, email us at rasoma@appsinventor.com from the email address associated with your account and ask for your account to be deleted. We will verify the request and process it within the time required by applicable law.
Delete some data without deleting your account
You do not have to delete your account to remove individual data. Inside the app you can, at any time:
- Delete any recipe you created, including its photos and story.
- Remove individual photos from a recipe.
- Leave a family group, which removes your membership from it.
- Edit or clear your profile display name.
Deleting content this way removes it for everyone it was shared with. For anything you cannot remove in the app, email rasoma@appsinventor.com and we will handle it as described above.
What is deleted
- Your account and sign-in credentials.
- Your profile (display name, preferences).
- Your private recipes, including their photos.
- Your memberships in family groups.
What is kept
- Recipes you contributed to a shared family group remain available to that group, but are anonymized: they are no longer associated with your account.
- Residual copies may persist briefly in service backups before being overwritten on our providers' normal cycles.
- Records we must retain to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, or enforce our agreements.
